First Shift Operator – Blending

About the role

The Operator works on the 1st shift to run blending equipment in a manufacturing environment, ensuring product quality and compliance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Match labels with batch records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machine faults and routine maintenance per manuals.
• Load, unload, set‑up, clean, adjust and disassemble machinery as needed.
• Enter production data using paper records, computers, iPads and ensure accurate scaling and measuring.
• Report damaged or inconsistent materials to the supervisor.
• Assist with overflow jobs in the operations department when required.
• Follow cGMP, SOPs and safety standards to maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in a factory environment (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Basic mathematical skills and ability to read, write and understand English instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly, stand, climb, bend and work in a manufacturing setting.

Required skills

• Basic troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
• Routine maintenance of machinery.
• Data entry using computers, iPads and paper records.
• Operation of basic digital devices (computer, iPad).
• Understanding of inventory adjustments and manufacturing equipment (preferred).
