Senior Electrical Test Engineer

About the role

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Senior Electrical Test Engineer to lead the creation and execution of electrical test strategies for autonomous maritime vehicles and subsystems. You will own test planning, develop automated test equipment, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to validate designs before release.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans aligned with the engineering design process.
• Translate system requirements into verification matrices and executable test procedures.
• Lead electrical verification at board, subsystem, and system levels, including functional, environmental, regression, reliability, and stress testing.
• Design, build, and deploy automated test equipment (ATE) for PCBAs, harnesses, power systems, and integrated assemblies.
• Create test scripts and frameworks using Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar tools.
• Specify and integrate instrumentation such as oscilloscopes, DAQs, power supplies, loads, and environmental chambers.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, systems, and manufacturing engineers to ensure testability early in the design cycle.
• Establish best practices for test documentation, data capture, version control, and reporting.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in electrical validation, hardware verification, and test automation for complex electromechanical systems.
• Proven ability to lead verification efforts and drive root‑cause analysis for electrical failures.
• Strong collaboration skills with cross‑functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
