Job description

About the role

The company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with deep expertise in EMI/EMC design to lead testing, analysis, and mitigation of electromagnetic interference across electronic systems and components.

Key responsibilities

Conduct EMI/EMC testing, analysis, and field assessments on products and components.
Develop design strategies and mitigation techniques to meet MIL‑STD‑461G, MIL‑STD‑464D, FCC, IEC, CISPR and other regulatory standards.
Prepare test plans, reports, and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with product design teams to integrate EMC requirements early in the design phase.
Identify program EMI/EMC risks and define modeling, simulation, or experimental activities to reduce them.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
7+ years of experience in EMI/EMC design, testing, and mitigation.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Required skills

EMI/EMC testing equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, antennas, LISN).
Simulation tools such as ANSYS and CST Microwave Studio.
PCB layout techniques for EMI/EMC compliance.
Understanding of standards: MIL‑STD‑461G, MIL‑STD‑464D, RTCA DOD‑160, FCC, IEC, CISPR, SAE.
Knowledge of HERO, HEMP, lightning protection, ESD, RF exposure limits.
Familiarity with interfaces: MIPI, DP, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB.
