Senior Director, Internal Audit

About the role

YETI is seeking a Senior Director of Internal Audit to lead its global internal audit function. You will shape the audit strategy, assess enterprise risks, and provide strategic insights to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a risk‑based internal audit strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead enterprise risk assessments and identify priority audit areas.
• Manage and execute audits covering financial reporting, operational efficiency, IT systems, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure audits follow IIA standards and company policies.
• Present findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership and the Audit Committee.
• Maintain communication with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Drive improvements in internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Leverage data‑analytics and technology to enhance audit effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CIA or CISA certification required.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in internal audit or public accounting.
• 10+ years of management experience, including leading global audit teams.
• Experience with enterprise risk management programs.
• Preferred experience in consumer goods or retail.
• Strong understanding of SOX compliance, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), IIA standards, and data‑analytics tools.
• Strategic thinker with high integrity and the ability to influence change.
