Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Servier is seeking a strategic Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead FP&A for its U.S. business during a period of significant growth and portfolio expansion. Reporting to the U.S. CFO, this leader will oversee budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning, financial reporting and business decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise‑wide annual operating planning, rolling forecasting, and multi‑year financial planning cycles.
• Provide executive‑level financial insight, scenario modeling, and strategic recommendations for capital allocation and portfolio prioritization.
• Oversee financial performance management, identifying risks, opportunities and key business drivers.
• Partner with Accounting, Business and Global Finance teams to ensure high‑quality reporting, data integrity and financial governance.
• Lead complex financial modeling for strategic investments, M&A, portfolio expansion and cost modeling.
• Advance FP&A systems, automation, dashboards, KPIs and business intelligence tools.
• Develop executive‑ready financial narratives and materials for leadership discussions.
• Build, mentor and scale a high‑performing FP&A team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, including extensive FP&A and enterprise financial planning.
• Experience in biopharmaceutical or life‑sciences industry.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into clear strategic narratives for senior leaders.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning and corporate decision‑support capabilities.
• Experience scaling finance processes, systems and teams in a growth environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience with business intelligence platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of enterprise planning tools such as Adaptive Planning.
