Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer

About the role

White Sky Technologies is seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operational support of its AEA suite of tools for U.S. Government clients. You will work with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable cloud solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize and automate deployment, build, and monitoring processes across multiple platforms.
• Drive consistency for CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related tooling.
• Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Manage containerized workloads with Docker, Kubernetes, and related registries.
• Collaborate with Agile teams to translate customer requirements into production‑ready code and infrastructure.

Required profile

• 20+ years of engineering experience in planning, designing, and leading high‑volume software implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or 5 years additional SE experience).
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph and CWIP IAT Level 1 clearance.
• Self‑driven learner who actively shares knowledge within the team.

Required skills

• Python, Bash, Ruby scripting.
• Linux command line proficiency.
• AWS services (S3, VPC, EC2, ECS/EKS).
• Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, registries).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Automation/configuration tools (Ansible).
