About the role

Zurich's RCIS division is seeking a Senior Crop Data Scientist Analyst to join the Crop Analytics team. The role works in a hybrid schedule from Schaumburg, IL or Anoka, MN, with remote options for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance predictive models for crop insurance business.
• Identify and integrate external data sources for analytics.
• Refresh profitability models at county and crop level.
• Monitor and streamline premium estimation models.
• Lead maintenance and enhancements of fund designation models.
• Perform scenario modeling on RMA products to assess profitability impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in predictive analytics.
• Strong knowledge of crop insurance and multi‑peril crop insurance products.
• Advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
