Senior Consultant – Retail & Supply Chain Management Consulting

About the role

The Senior Consultant is a core member of the project team, providing day‑to‑day leadership on management consulting engagements for retail and supply‑chain clients. Working primarily onsite, you will own workstreams from planning through to implementation, ensuring delivery of high‑impact recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects or workstreams end‑to‑end, managing workplans, milestones, deliverables and execution of time‑and‑motion studies, work measurement, cost‑benefit analysis and process re‑engineering.
• Provide daily project leadership, including task planning, prioritisation, progress tracking and status reporting.
• Conduct onsite diagnostics and current‑state assessments through interviews, process mapping, floor observations, time studies and data validation.
• Serve as the primary client counterpart for assigned workstreams, managing stakeholder alignment across client and internal teams.
• Design future‑state processes, capabilities and enabling technologies to improve operational performance.
• Research and apply emerging methods and technologies to drive measurable efficiency gains.
• Build and oversee core analyses and models (KPI baselines, volume‑to‑labor/capacity models, productivity sizing) to support quantified business cases.
• Develop and deliver engineered labor standards, including documentation, governance, rollout and sustainment support where applicable.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading consulting workstreams for retail or supply‑chain clients.
• Ability to manage and coach junior team members.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, acting as the main client liaison.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite with clients.
