Senior Compensation Advisor – Physician & Faculty

About the role

The Sr. Compensation Advisor, Physician and Faculty provides end‑to‑end compensation consultation and analytical support for physicians, faculty, and advanced practice providers. Working within a pooled, capacity‑based service model, the advisor independently evaluates requests, conducts market and internal analyses, and delivers defensible recommendations to leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage compensation requests from intake through final recommendation, assessing scope, urgency, and policy applicability.
• Conduct detailed market, internal, financial, and productivity analyses to develop competitive offer packages.
• Evaluate recruitment offers, retention requests, counteroffers, and market adjustments, ensuring equity and compliance.
• Partner with directors, legal, compliance, finance, and HR partners on complex costing and regulatory reviews.
• Present data‑driven recommendations to department chairs, SAOs, Faculty Affairs, and HR partners while adhering to service‑level agreements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of experience in compensation analysis or related HR functions.
• Demonstrated learning agility, teamwork, technical proficiency with office software, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
