About the role
This position oversees the day‑to‑day operations of two or more assigned apartment communities, leading staff, managing resources, and ensuring financial and operational goals are met. The manager ensures compliance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and other applicable regulations while driving resident satisfaction and retention.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage property budgets, analyze financial statements, and monitor performance against targets.
- Set rent rates, collect payments, process bank deposits, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and owners.
- Oversee lease enforcement, application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collections.
- Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Respond to resident complaints, coordinate maintenance, and ensure service standards are met.
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain safety, cleanliness, and appearance.
- Hire, train, and supervise property staff, managing performance according to company policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
- 4‑6 years of property management, sales, marketing, and customer service experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution, and customer‑service skills.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, capable of working independently and as a team leader.
Required skills
- Valid state licenses and driver’s license (including golf‑cart operation).
- Proficiency with property‑management software such as Entrata, Yardi, or OneSite.
- Strong skills in internet use, word processing, spreadsheets, and database management.
- Management and supervisory abilities to hire, lead, and evaluate staff.
