Senior Communications Manager – Product (Leo)

About the role

Amazon is looking for a motivated, creative, and mission‑driven communications professional to lead product communications for Amazon Leo, its low‑Earth‑orbit satellite internet network. This senior role will shape the communications strategy for a global initiative that aims to bring fast, reliable internet to underserved customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Drive announcements and launches for Leo consumer products and services.
• Build and execute proactive communications campaigns to raise consumer awareness.
• Engage proactively and reactively with media, analysts, and influencers.
• Develop high‑quality content for earned, owned, and social channels.
• Design and manage a product reviews program.
• Anticipate and manage potential reputational issues.
• Create mechanisms to scale Leo product communications globally.

Required profile

• 10+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading go‑to‑market for consumer software or hardware product launches.
• Proven track record developing successful marketing or communications campaigns.
• Strong background in media relations and issues management.
• Experience in satellite communications or the broader telecommunications sector (preferred).
