Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

About the role

Arctiq is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer with deep Azure expertise to design, implement, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. This hybrid role supports multiple client locations across the United States and focuses on operational excellence, automation, cost optimization, and security hardening.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and optimize Azure IaaS and PaaS services to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Deploy, configure, and manage Azure compute, networking, storage, and platform services.
• Monitor system health, availability, and performance using Azure-native and third‑party tools.
• Provide production support, incident response, and root‑cause analysis.
• Maintain service level agreements and ensure uptime and resiliency targets are met.
• Manage Azure app registrations, service principals, client secrets, certificates, and Key Vault integrations to prevent expiration‑related outages.
• Support Azure networking resources and implement security hardening measures.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience operating Azure environments in an enterprise setting.
• Proven ability to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance requirements.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, security, and DevOps teams.
