Senior Cloud Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of secure, scalable cloud solutions that support enterprise‑level modernization. The role is based at Redstone Arsenal and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud service delivery models (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) and architectural frameworks.
• Implement infrastructure and application automation using DevSecOps tools.
• Develop and migrate secure cloud‑native and hybrid applications.
• Analyze existing applications and recommend migration, deployment, or rehosting strategies.
• Provide guidance on cloud strategy, failover, recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analysis.
• Debug cloud stack issues, manage cloud policies, and evaluate emerging cloud technologies.
• Establish and maintain secure, compliant cloud environments with high performance and availability.
• Lead the definition of cloud governance standards and ensure security and data‑protection compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and enterprise architects to align solutions with organizational goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years in cloud development or architecture.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Experience with ETL processes, Splunk, SQL platforms, and Python.
