Senior Civil Engineer

About the role

A2H is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer for its Memphis, TN office. The role combines design and project management across a variety of civil engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide project management oversight and engineering design on civil engineering projects.
• Manage all phases of projects, including design development, presentation drawings, specifications, design review, and coordination of construction documents.
• Coordinate project teams to ensure design intent is reflected in construction documentation and during construction administration.
• Meet with clients, regulators, and agencies to build professional relationships.
• Maintain project files, meeting notes, financial information, client correspondence, and schedules.
• Conduct quality‑assurance reviews of technical documents at various project phases.
• Participate in planning, cost development, scheduling, and business development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred in Tennessee, with ability to obtain licensure in multiple states.
• Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experience.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and client‑interaction experience.
