Senior Aviation Maintenance Analyst

About the role

The Senior Aviation Maintenance Analyst provides subject‑matter expertise for Army aviation maintenance, logistics, and facilities planning. The role supports modernization of maintenance facilities, airfields, and sustainment infrastructure for rotary‑wing, fixed‑wing, and unmanned aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop recommendations on maintenance operations, facility investments, and aviation support equipment.
• Prepare executive‑level briefings and coordinate with Army leadership, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, HQDA staff, and other stakeholders.
• Support updates to the Aviation Maintenance Facility Design Standard (CC21110) and related standards.
• Contribute to Facility Investment Plans, FYDP planning, and funding briefings.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of Army aviation maintenance experience managing personnel, supplies, equipment, and facilities.
• Senior Aviation Badge or Master Aviation Badge.
• At least 5 years supporting Aviation Maintenance Facility Design Standard updates.
• Experience coordinating with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, HQDA G‑4, G‑8, and IMCOM.

Required skills

• Functional knowledge of airframe‑specific maintenance, phase flow management, budgeting, and logistics.
• Proficiency with the Integrated Logistics Analysis Program (ILAP).
• Understanding of CC21110 (Fixed‑Wing TDA Facility Standards) and CC21115 (Tactical Unmanned Air Vehicle TOE Facility Standards).
• Expertise in Facility Investment Plans, Future Years Defense Program (FYDP), and aviation support equipment capability gaps.
