Senior Architect – Commercial Life Sciences (Remote)

About the role

Veeva’s Commercial Technology Architecture team helps life‑sciences customers define and implement technology strategies that enable commercial excellence. As a Senior Architect you will lead end‑to‑end design, analysis and delivery of Veeva commercial applications for pharma and medical‑device organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business‑process due diligence, advise on best practices, design end‑user requirements and produce deliverables across the full lifecycle of Veeva applications.
• Collaborate with customers, vendors and Veeva colleagues to deliver high‑quality solutions that drive customer success.
• Manage program/engagement activities (20%), perform analysis (50%) and execute technical work (30%) on commercial solutions.
• Provide direction to junior team members, support recruitment, and develop best practices and accelerators.
• Create assessments, health checks and commercial architecture designs to support solution design.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in Commercial IT Architecture within the life‑sciences industry.
• Proven track record engaging senior management and executives as a subject‑matter expert.
• Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Self‑starter able to lead colleagues and customers through complex projects.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and work remotely.
