Senior Applications Engineer – Hydraulic Solutions

About the role

The Senior Applications Engineer will act as a technical leader and trusted advisor, developing hydraulic solutions that meet complex customer requirements. You will partner with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to design, test, and support advanced hydraulic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand application requirements, operating conditions, and performance objectives.
• Design and develop custom Hydraulic Integrated Circuits (HICs) and system solutions based on specifications.
• Lead technically complex customer applications from concept through implementation and validation.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting, technical support, and engineering reports for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with design, product management, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and sales to resolve technical challenges.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in hydraulics, fluid power, or related applications.
• Proven ability to lead complex customer projects and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project‑management skills.

Required skills

• Hydraulic systems design and schematic interpretation.
• Design of Hydraulic Integrated Circuits (HICs).
• Electro‑hydraulic controls, PLCs, sensors, and automation technologies.
• Testing methodologies, data acquisition, and root‑cause analysis.
