Senior Application Architect - Azure and Databricks

About the role

HCSC is hiring a Senior Application Architect focused on Azure and Databricks, working remotely from anywhere in the continental United States (excluding California, New York, Alaska and Hawaii). The role ensures that project designs align with the application architecture roadmap and acts as a subject matter expert for products that need to integrate into the application.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure project-specific designs align with the application architecture roadmap
• Support project and/or product teams on functional and technical design activities
• Define the interaction between application packages, databases and middleware systems to optimize product functional coverage
• Act as subject matter expert for products requiring integration into the application

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of information technology experience, or a technical certification and/or college courses with 7 years of IT experience, or 9 years of IT experience
• Experience in application and/or product feature design, application configuration and solution architecture
• Application domain knowledge, prototyping, problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, and ability to tie together solutions across systems

• Application development platforms and languages such as HTML/CSS, Java, ASP.NET, PHP, Ruby and C#
• Cloud computing (SaaS / PaaS)
• DevOps and continuous deployment/integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, RallyDev and Jira
• Integration technologies such as Tibco, Informatica and CAS
• Iterative, agile and Scrum development

What we offer

• Base pay range of $112,200 to $202,600, varying with skills, experience and location
