Senior Accountant

About the role

Remarcable is an early‑stage SaaS company seeking a Senior Accountant to own core accounting operations and build financial infrastructure as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records in accordance with GAAP.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and revenue recognition for SaaS contracts (ASC 606).
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow tracking, tax filings, and audit preparation.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting (audit) background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience owning a full close process with minimal oversight.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Bill.com.
• Advanced Excel skills, including large data sets and formulas (e.g., SUMIFS).
• Understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
