SEN Teacher – Maternity Cover (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role
We are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher to cover a maternity leave for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The position is based in Boston, PE20, and will involve delivering lessons across a range of subjects while meeting the needs of students with special educational needs.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum and SEN requirements.
- Adapt teaching materials and assessment methods to support pupils with varying abilities.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and SEN specialists to improve practice and student outcomes.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent‑teacher conferences and school events.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
