Semiconductor Power Component Architect

About the role

The Power Component Architect will join Bosch's silicon carbide (SiC) product release team in Roseville, CA, driving the release and series production of SiC PowerMOSFET technology for automotive applications such as traction inverters.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Center of Competence in Germany to enable technology transfers to the US manufacturing facility.
• Derive technical specifications, coordinate sample build‑ups, characterization and reliability testing, and define series testing concepts.
• Support new product introductions by facilitating engineering activities between foundry, labs and product managers.
• Manage stakeholder requirements across multi‑disciplinary teams and ensure alignment with project schedules.

Required profile

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or related field.
• Analytical mindset with ability to break down complex, multi‑domain problems.
• Experience applying statistical data analysis to solve technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international, cross‑functional environment.

Required skills

• Python or MATLAB for data analysis and workflow automation.
• Statistical data analysis techniques.
• Semiconductor device physics, especially SiC PowerMOSFETs.
• Electrical laboratory measurement techniques.
