Associate Facility Engineer – UPW & Bulk Chemical

About the role

The Associate Facility Engineer will support the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of ultrapure water, wastewater treatment, and chemical/gas distribution systems at Bosch's Roseville semiconductor facility.

Key responsibilities

• Work with vendors to start up and install new equipment.
• Assist in design reviews, preparing layouts, drawings, and bills of material for facility improvements.
• Modify existing equipment to improve efficiency, safety, reliability, capacity, and cost effectiveness.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and develop corrective action proposals.
• Prepare SOPs, specifications, and job safety analyses for special projects.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and secure required permits.
• Coordinate shutdown activities to minimize production downtime.
• Lead continuous improvement programs and train mechanics for 24x7 response.

Required profile

• BS degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and interpret technical documents.
• Strong communication skills with vendors, engineers, and operators.
• Experience with water treatment, hydronics, or industrial utilities preferred.
