Semiconductor Maintenance Technician - Photo Equipment

About the role

NXP is hiring a Semiconductor Maintenance Technician for its Chandler manufacturing site. The selected candidate performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on photo equipment toolsets, including scanners, steppers, metrology and overlay inspection tools. The work involves troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, pneumatic and mechanical systems, and the position requires compressed shifts, days or nights.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain photo equipment toolsets such as ASML PAS5500 scanners, Canon IW steppers, TEL ACT8/MARK7 tracks and metrology equipment.
• Maintain KLA 8100 SEM and KLA 5100/5200 overlay inspection equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic and mechanical systems, and carry out scheduled maintenance and consumable changes.
• Interface with internal and external groups to meet safety, performance and reliability requirements.
• Complete documentation and train others.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of SPC, 5S and FDC systems, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate well in writing and verbally.
• Able to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours) and physically perform tasks such as stooping, crawling in confined spaces and lifting or carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
• Education: AA, AS or AAS in electronics or another industrial engineering-related discipline is preferred; education plus experience or military training may satisfy the requirement.
• Experience: specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions is required; KLA equipment or track experience is preferred but not required.
