Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – Etch/Metals

About the role

NXP is hiring a Semiconductor Maintenance Technician for its Chandler manufacturing site, in the Fab Metals/Etch equipment area. The selected candidate performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the toolsets listed below.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain Applied Materials Centura MxP/MxP+/SuperE, DPS and DPS IILAM 4420/4520i, ULVAC Enviro II and Optima, Gasonics 3500 and PEP 3510 Ashers, Axcelis/Fusion Gemini DUV Photostabilizers, and Applied Materials Metals Endura 5500 and Centura 5200 toolsets.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic systems, as well as pneumatic, vacuum and mechanical systems.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance, consumable changes and other activities needed for the area's success.
• Interface with internal and external groups to meet safety, performance and reliability requirements.
• Complete documentation and train others.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of SPC, 5S and FDC systems, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work compressed shifts; day or night openings may be available.
• Education: AA, AS or AAS in electronics or another industrial engineering-related discipline is preferred; education plus experience or military training may satisfy the requirement.
• Experience with semiconductor maintenance, specifically Metals or Etch equipment, is considered.
• Physical ability to stand up to 12 hours, stoop, crawl in confined spaces and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
