Security Lead, Risk and Compliance Services (Chantilly)

About the role

Deloitte is looking for an experienced security professional to support its compliance with CFR 117, the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs) and Security Executive Agent Directives (SEADs) for government clients and accrediting authorities. The position is based in Chantilly, VA, with a primary on-site presence five days a week, and involves personnel security processing and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) operations.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate, prepare and submit personnel security applications (initials, upgrades, periodic reinvestigations) for access to National Security Information and Intelligence Community programs, including eApp, SF86, SF86C and other agency paperwork
• Support the GPS Security mission: daily database entries, status checks in Scattered Castles and DISS, keeping personnel security and suitability records and clearance certifications up to date
• Act as quality control specialist for personnel security paperwork, ensuring complete and accurate packages
• Prepare visit authorization letters (VAL) for classified visits and support client badging and onboarding
• Help with incident response, SOP creation and updates, and security awareness briefings
• Provide physical security support, including self-inspections, fixed facility checklists and alarm response
• Support RFP responses and manage badge systems, including badge creation, audits and access control log maintenance

Required profile

• In-Scope Top Secret/SCI personnel security clearance with a full-scope polygraph
• 6+ years of federal security operational or personnel security processing experience with a US federal agency
• Knowledge of NISPOM, ICDs and agency-specific regulations
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Preferred: bachelor's degree and experience with ICD 705 and SCIF build requirements

The stated wage range is $103,900 to $173,300, with possible eligibility for a discretionary annual incentive program.
