Seasonal Server – May to Oct 2026 (Hamptons)

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage Service team at Discovery Land Company’s Hamptons locations for a seasonal server position running from May 1 to October 7, 2026. You will help create a premium experience for members and guests at Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach and The Hills in East Quogue.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests and members promptly, using names whenever possible.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and allergens.
• Take orders accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system and ensure correct checks.
• Run food, clear tables, reset china, glassware, and silverware.
• Support teammates for efficient service and maintain communication with managers.
• Complete opening and closing procedures, monitor cleanliness, and handle inventory checks.
• Maintain equipment, follow safe food handling practices, and adhere to company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum six months experience in high‑volume restaurants, resorts, or private clubs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb, and work outdoors and indoors.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Pass a background check.

What we offer
