Seasonal Customer Service Representative

About the role

Petite Plume is seeking a Seasonal Customer Service Representative to join its remote team during the high‑volume holiday period. In this part‑time, seasonal role you will be the front line of communication, delivering personalized support that reflects the brand’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat and other channels with empathy and professionalism.
• Assist with pre‑purchase questions, product recommendations, sizing, fabric details and gifting guidance.
• Handle post‑purchase issues including orders, shipping, returns, exchanges and product concerns.
• Process phone purchases and generate email invoices.
• Document interactions and order updates in Gorgias, Shopify, Route and internal systems.
• Collaborate with the Customer Success team to maintain service levels during peak demand.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of customer service experience in e‑commerce, hospitality or a client‑facing role.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with consistent brand voice.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and key holidays in November and December.
• Willingness to increase hours during peak periods.

Required skills

• Experience using Gorgias support platform.
• Familiarity with Shopify e‑commerce system.
• Knowledge of Route shipping and returns tools.
