Virtual Receptionist – Remote (US)

About the role

RemoteHunter is hiring a Virtual Receptionist to provide professional virtual assistant services for multiple client businesses across the United States. The role serves as the first point of contact for incoming calls, handling communication, scheduling, and administrative tasks from a home office while maintaining high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls professionally and provide a positive experience.
• Identify caller requirements and deliver accurate information using client scripts.
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm appointments through client systems.
• Take detailed messages and route calls to the appropriate contacts.
• Transfer and conference calls according to client instructions.
• Screen unwanted calls while managing genuine inquiries.
• Make outbound calls for scheduling, follow‑ups, surveys, and other client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of calls and customer interactions.
• Follow client procedures, communication standards, and confidentiality requirements.
• Remain logged in and available during assigned working hours.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 6 months of phone‑based customer service experience.
• Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with 100 % accuracy.
• Home office equipped with 40 + Mbps wired Ethernet and a quiet workspace.
• Residency in a U.S. state where hiring is permitted (excluding CA, CT, DC, IL, NY, OR, WA).

Required skills

• Proficiency with remote communication tools.
• Experience using appointment scheduling systems.
