School Based Clinical Supervisor (Kansas City, MO)

About the role

The School Based Clinical Supervisor provides day‑to‑day clinical and operational leadership for Kelly Pediatric Therapy services delivered within a Kansas City school district. Working onsite at the district office and schools, the supervisor ensures high‑quality therapy for students and serves as the primary liaison between therapists, school staff, and district administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of pediatric therapists, overseeing staffing and service delivery.
• Act as the main point of contact for the school district, building relationships with administrators, teachers, and families.
• Collaborate with the Clinical Director on clinical quality, therapist performance, student outcomes, compliance and program success.
• Manage daily program operations including referrals, caseloads, documentation, and resolution of clinical or operational issues.
• Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences and other district meetings to represent Kelly’s clinical expertise.
• Monitor program performance, identify trends, and report risks and recommendations to leadership.
• Support client satisfaction and program growth by proactively addressing district needs.

Required profile

• Licensed clinician (OT, Speech‑Language Pathology, or related discipline) with at least 5 years of pediatric clinical experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with school personnel, families and internal teams.
• Ability to work onsite at least 50 % of the week, aligning with the school schedule.

Required skills

• Clinical expertise in pediatric occupational therapy or speech‑language pathology.
• Experience leading and mentoring therapy teams.
• Knowledge of special education processes, including IEP development.
