Field Service Engineer – Imaging Systems (Kansas City, KS/MO)

About the role

Join Philips as a Field Service Engineer for Imaging Systems, supporting customers in the Kansas City, KS/MO area. You will use your technical expertise to install, troubleshoot, service and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment at customer sites, ensuring high‑quality service and revenue generation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by meeting entitlements, setting expectations and adhering to arrival times.
• Understand customers’ business environment and generate service revenue.
• Participate in regional team processes, identify training gaps and expand capability across multiple imaging modalities.
• Complete all administrative tasks including timesheets, work orders, expense reports and preventative maintenance documentation.
• Diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical and networking issues using appropriate tools and escalation processes.

Required profile

• 1+ year of experience in diagnostic imaging service or 3+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and on‑call rotations.
• Authorization to work in the United States and residence within commuting distance of Kansas City.
• Capability to safely work with radiation sources and wear required personal protective equipment.
