SAP SuccessFactors Payroll & Time Tracking Consultant

About the role

Next Generation, Inc., an HR Path company, is looking for an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Payroll / Time Tracking Consultant to lead implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Time Tracking solutions. This fully remote, hands‑on functional consulting role works directly with business stakeholders, HR, payroll, and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements for payroll, time management, attendance and absence tracking.
• Configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll and Time Tracking, including work schedules, holiday calendars, time recording profiles and wage types.
• Support testing activities (system, integration and UAT) and provide production support.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve configuration issues, perform payroll reconciliation and data validation.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT and third‑party integration teams.
• Create functional specifications, configuration documentation and test scripts.
• Recommend process improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience, specifically with Employee Central Payroll and/or Time Tracking.
• Proven ability to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience supporting testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
