SAP S/4HANA Finance SME – Record to Report

About the role

Join 3m as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP S/4HANA Finance, focusing on Record to Report (RTR) processes. You will work closely with finance, IT, and cross‑functional teams to deliver stable, scalable solutions that support financial close, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the SME for RTR processes within SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Gather finance stakeholder requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Support core RTR areas: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Projects, Intercompany, Journal entries, Financial reporting, Treasury, and Tax compliance.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA enhancements, implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Conduct fit‑gap analysis, testing, defect resolution, and production support.
• Drive standardization, simplification, and automation across RTR processes.
• Create and maintain business requirements, test scripts, documentation, and training materials.
• Facilitate user adoption, change management, and ongoing system optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems or Business.
• Minimum seven years of technical experience in finance, ERP systems, or IT business analysis.
• Strong experience in Record to Report processes and financial close activities.
