SAP HCM/SuccessFactors Payroll Consultant

About the role

Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP HCM/SuccessFactors Payroll Consultant to join its SURE (Services, Utilities, Resources, Energy) unit in Detroit, Michigan. The role focuses on delivering strategic ERP solutions that enable clients in the services and energy sectors to modernize their payroll, compensation and time‑management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications for SAP HCM and SuccessFactors payroll modules.
• Provide architectural guidance to ensure ERP scalability, performance and future‑proofing.
• Design and lead the implementation of custom payroll, compensation and time‑management solutions while adhering to best‑practice coding and configuration standards.
• Define integration strategies, oversee data migration activities and validate data accuracy against business objectives.
• Drive performance‑optimization initiatives, establish benchmarks and ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
• Create comprehensive documentation and lead knowledge‑transfer programs for both technical teams and end‑users.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering SAP HCM and SuccessFactors payroll projects in complex, multi‑site environments.
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture, system integration and data migration methodologies.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and guide strategic decision‑making.
• Experience working with clients in services, utilities, energy or related industries is a plus.
