Sales Representative – On Premise – Greater Sacramento Area

About the role

Join breakthru as an On‑Premise Sales Representative covering the Greater Sacramento Area. You will work directly with bars, restaurants and retail accounts to grow the sales of our beer, wine and spirits brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow an efficient daily route to visit assigned accounts.
• Identify sales opportunities on each account, complete required surveys and ensure compliance with national account standards.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, promote new products, and manage bar‑back and shelf placements.
• Maintain product inventory levels, restock shelves where legally permitted, and monitor out‑of‑stock situations.
• Provide brand education and training to account staff.
• Process credits, returns and manage receivables, collecting payments where allowed.
• Address customer issues, handle complaints and coordinate with management as needed.
• Achieve distribution, volume and activity targets set for supplier brands.
• Support new account openings by preparing opening orders with the Field Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Current breakthru associate with a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
• Strong passion for customer service and a fast‑paced selling environment.
• Ability to travel throughout the Greater Sacramento Area.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
