Sales Representative – Gourmet Grocery (Marin County)

About the role

We are seeking an Off‑Premise Sales Representative to grow our Gourmet Grocery accounts in Marin County. You will represent our beer, wine and spirits portfolio, build strong relationships with retail partners, and drive sales of supplier brands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow an efficient daily route to visit all assigned grocery accounts.
• Identify sales opportunities on each visit, complete required surveys, and ensure compliance with national account standards.
• Deliver professional sales presentations, introduce new products, and manage in‑store placements and promotions.
• Maintain product inventory levels, restock shelves where permitted, and conduct staff training on priority brands.
• Process credits, returns, and collect payments in accordance with legal guidelines.
• Address customer issues, provide product deliveries in special circumstances, and coordinate with management as needed.
• Track and achieve distribution, volume, and activity goals for supplier brands.
• Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager on new account openings and opening orders.

Required profile

• Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for customer visits.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced sales environment.
