About the role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our on‑premise sales team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This full‑time position reports to senior leadership and is responsible for driving revenue growth and profitability through strategic sales initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coach direct reports, clearly defining roles, expectations, and deliverables.
- Provide ongoing training, field instruction, and performance feedback to the sales team.
- Analyze territory results versus monthly objectives and hold weekly strategy meetings.
- Develop and execute long‑term strategic plans, monitoring progress and adjusting tactics as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts and key decision‑makers.
- Manage sales goal setting, budget oversight, promotional spend, and accounts receivable targets.
- Support divisional financial goals by controlling expenses and ensuring accurate forecasting.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience.
- Proven ability to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Excellent judgment, problem‑solving abilities, and discretion.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office and presentation software.
