Sales Manager – Active Adult Community

About the role

The Sales Manager leads the community's sales, leasing, and resident retention strategy to maximize occupancy, revenue, and customer satisfaction. This role oversees onsite sales performance, prospect management, CRM utilization, outreach initiatives, lease renewals, and the overall customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop onsite Sales Consultants to achieve occupancy, move‑in, and revenue goals.
• Establish monthly sales objectives, monitor performance metrics, and implement action plans.
• Develop and execute strategic leasing and marketing plans, analyze market conditions, and adjust strategies.
• Oversee the lease renewal program, preparing renewal letters and ensuring timely completion.
• Manage prospect activity within CRM, monitor lead response times, and improve conversion rates.
• Create outreach strategies with local businesses, community organizations, and referral sources.
• Represent the community at networking events to generate qualified leads.
• Prepare and analyze sales reports, occupancy forecasts, and marketing effectiveness metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales, leasing, senior living, multifamily, or related customer‑facing roles.
• Prior experience leading, coaching, or mentoring sales professionals and a proven record of achieving occupancy and revenue targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs.
• Strong experience using property management/CRM systems.
• Advanced CRM reporting and data analysis capabilities.
