Sales Internship – Campus Program

About the role

The Lilly Sales Internship is a 10‑week, hands‑on program that gives students real experience selling pharmaceutical products. After completing online sales training, interns travel to Indianapolis for a week of in‑person training and immersion in Lilly’s corporate culture.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory and call on physicians to promote Lilly products.
• Work within a district sales team and collaborate with a dedicated mentor on territory management and selling techniques.
• Utilize a company‑provided car and iPad for business activities throughout the internship.

Required profile

• Undergraduate students (3 years completed) or master’s candidates graduating between May 2027 and August 2028.
• Pharmacy students in years 2‑4 graduating between May 2027 and August 2029.
• Authorized to work full‑time in the United States and possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the sales process and strong persuasion/negotiation abilities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Motivation, leadership potential, and the ability to learn and convey technical/scientific information.
