Sales Associate – Specialty Food Distribution

About the role

The Sales Associate will be the face of The Chefs' Warehouse in their assigned territory, building trusted relationships with chefs, restaurant owners, and foodservice operators. The role focuses on helping customers discover products and solutions that elevate menus, improve operations, and grow their businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand a portfolio of accounts, win new business and increase earnings through an uncapped commission structure.
• Manage territory autonomously while collaborating with internal sales, culinary, protein, and produce experts.
• Build trusted relationships with chefs and foodservice operators, providing product expertise and solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in restaurant sales, food sales, catering, hospitality, culinary, or other customer‑facing environments (preferred).
• Relationship‑focused, positive, self‑motivated and results‑driven with strong communication and organization skills.
• Must reside within a commutable distance of the assigned sales territory and have reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
