Director, Global Markets and Resource Mobilization

About the role

The Director, Global Markets and Resource Mobilization will drive CARE USA’s international fundraising strategy, supporting new market entry and coordinating with CARE members and country offices to diversify revenue sources.

Key responsibilities

• Manage new market donor pipelines, including Gulf and Asian markets, and develop business cases for entry.
• Support country offices in resource mobilization, aligning private sector, co‑financing, and national government funding opportunities.
• Maintain a match‑funding map, prepare proposals leveraging co‑financing, and connect country offices with CARE USA fundraising teams.
• Engage CARE members to build collaborative fundraising pipelines and coordinate confederation fundraising forums.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in international fundraising, partnership development, or resource mobilization.
• Proven success cultivating gifts from institutional, corporate, or philanthropic donors.
• Familiarity with Gulf donor markets and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM.
