Rural Nurse Education Faculty Fellowship – Instructor (ASN & LPN)

About the role

This full‑time fellowship invites experienced registered nurses to join the Dundee Community Association Rural Nurse Education program as faculty instructors. You will teach both Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) students, supporting Georgia’s effort to strengthen rural health workforce development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans for accredited technical and occupational nursing courses.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback aligned with curriculum objectives.
• Maintain program certification, accreditation documentation, and state licensing requirements.
• Manage classroom and clinical training environments, ensuring safety and resource availability.
• Participate in student recruitment, retention, and job placement initiatives.
• Collaborate with staff and other educators to continuously improve instructional programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Admission to or enrollment in an accredited Master’s program in Nursing Education.
• Minimum three years of full‑time professional nursing experience within the past seven years (five years preferred).
• Experience in teaching, clinical instruction, precepting, workforce training, or nursing leadership is advantageous.
