Robotics Software Engineer

About the role

Join an early‑stage robotics company building intelligent automation solutions for industrial manufacturing. You will work in a small, highly technical team, taking ownership of software that drives perception, motion planning, and real‑time control on robotic hardware.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust software for industrial robotic systems, including motion planning, trajectory generation, and real‑time control algorithms.
• Integrate vision‑based applications by connecting cameras and other sensors, and improve system performance across embedded and cloud environments.
• Write clean, modular, well‑tested code, perform simulation, testing, and real‑world validation, and collaborate with hardware and controls engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced collaborative environment, and authorization to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Required skills

• Python programming
• Version control with Git
• Understanding of robotics fundamentals such as kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and state estimation
• Experience with ROS or similar robotics middleware (preferred)
• Motion planning, trajectory optimization, and real‑time control
• Computer vision and 3D perception integration
• Embedded or edge computing platforms and cloud‑based robotics infrastructure
