About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in the OALH Med Surg unit on a PRN (as needed) basis, utilizing the Nursing Process and adhering to professional standards.

Key responsibilities

Assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and educate patients and families.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Ability to perform essential duties with physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

Computer skills for data entry and retrieval.
Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and role‑specific software.
