About the role

Ochsner is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide endoscopy care on the Jefferson Highway campus. The RN will deliver patient‑centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate endoscopic patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality outcomes.
Educate patients, families, and staff on procedures, post‑procedure care, and safety protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and retrieve patient information using electronic systems.

Required profile

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Registered Nurse diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

Required skills

Computer data entry and retrieval of patient information.
Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and related software packages.
