RN Clinic Supervisor - Interventional Cardiology/Transitional Care

Exceptional care starts with exceptional people, and Ochsner is looking for a dedicated RN Clinic Supervisor to lead both the Interventional Cardiology Clinic and the Transitional Care Clinic. The role involves delivering patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and supervising licensed and ancillary staff to ensure safe and effective services.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and assist licensed and ancillary team members in delivering patient care and maintaining clinical standards.
• Coordinate clinical operations for the Interventional Cardiology and Transitional Care clinics, ensuring compliance with regulations and accreditation standards.
• Supervise, train, and develop staff while fostering effective communication and leadership.
• Maintain professional development, clinical knowledge, technical skills, and required credentials for the nursing team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and CPR certification; ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Strong organizational judgment, interpersonal abilities, and leadership skills.

Required skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• CPR certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
