About the role

Jupiter Medical Center, ranked #1 for safety, quality and patient satisfaction, is hiring a full-time RN Case Manager. The RN Case Manager leads the interdisciplinary team and works with physicians, nurses, discharge planners, insurance providers and others by phone and in person to make sure patients receive the right treatment in the correct admission status.

Key responsibilities

Assess, coordinate and evaluate the patient's needs and services
Coordinate and complete utilization review to ensure compliance with state, federal and payor requirements
Participate in performance improvement initiatives related to patient care
Perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
Current RN licensure in Florida and BLS certification for healthcare providers
3 years of acute care nursing experience
Knowledge of InterQual or Milliman admission criteria and of federal and state regulations
Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, staff, physicians, insurance providers, transportation services and peers
