About the role

This role leads patient care in the Burn ICU using the nursing process, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN delegates, directs, and assists team members while ensuring quality outcomes and cultural sensitivity.

Key responsibilities

Effectively uses the nursing process in delivering patient care.
Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for patients and families.
Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources.
Uses data and knowledge to evaluate and promote change for optimal outcomes.
Adapts behavior to respect patient privacy and cultural preferences.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
No prior work experience required.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Data analysis and documentation to support clinical decision‑making.
