About the role
Join Lehigh Valley Health Network as a Retina Specialist, providing clinical and surgical care for patients with retinal diseases in a high‑volume, well‑equipped practice.
Key responsibilities
- Perform intravitreal injections, vitreoretinal surgeries and manage Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) cases.
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians and certified ophthalmic assistants in a multidisciplinary team.
Required profile
- Board‑eligible or board‑certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
- Valid Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one; fellowship trained in retina.
Required skills
- Experience with intravitreal injection techniques.
- Proficiency in vitreoretinal surgical procedures.
- Familiarity with Cirrus OCT with Angio, Zeiss wide‑field fundus camera and Argon laser equipment.
