Restaurant General Manager

About the role

The Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager leads the team, sets the tone for the work environment, and ensures customers receive great food and friendly service. You will oversee the entire restaurant operation and build a strong, high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, and train Team Members, Shift Leads, and Assistant Managers.
• Develop and execute comprehensive training plans and mentor staff.
• Recognize and reward outstanding performance while fostering equity, inclusion, and belonging.
• Address and resolve customer and employee conflicts promptly.
• Strategically schedule staff, coach on CHAMPS standards, and lead product rollout meetings.
• Analyze financial performance, manage the budget, and develop profitability strategies.
• Monitor competitors and aim to exceed their standards, including digital presence and loyalty programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant or retail management experience.
• Proven ability to improve performance using P&L analysis.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
• Understanding of restaurant maintenance programs and food safety standards.
