Shift Leader – Fast‑Paced Restaurant Management

About the role

The Shift Leader drives the team’s performance during each shift, ensuring high standards of service, food quality, and safety at our Corvallis Taco Bell restaurant. You will lead by example, resolve guest concerns quickly, and support the General Manager in daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the MIC (Manager in Charge) Success Routine to maintain consistent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee team members’ completion of Shift Excellence tasks and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Ensure food safety, quality, and order accuracy while managing product preparation, rotation, and holding times.
• Handle customer complaints promptly and provide constructive feedback to the GM on team performance.
• Assist the GM with hiring, profit & loss management, cash control, inventory, labor scheduling, and facility maintenance.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of restaurant or retail experience; 3 months shift lead experience preferred.
• Minimum age of 18 and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
• Physical ability to lift up to 45 lb and maintain attendance and punctuality.

Required skills

• Basic cash‑register operation and change making.
• Fundamental math skills for cash handling.
